Join the biggest celebration of the plant-based industry!
Launched for the second time in 2022, the International V-Label Awards is the first awards scheme of its kind, aiming to recognize innovation, positive impact, and sustainability in the plant-based sector.
Driven by the overwhelming success of the first edition of the Awards in 2021, we doubled the categories for this year: from the best dairy, meat, and fish alternatives, through niche and non-food categories, to those celebrating responsible business practices, companies could nominate their outstanding plant-based products in 15 different categories.
The participation was quite incredible again: we received 260 entries from over 30 countries worldwide, from well-known international brands and emerging, mission-driven startups alike: brands driving the vegan movement and transforming the food industry.
Besides competing in the 15 main categories – scored by our Expert Jury panel – participants also had a chance to win over our Influencer Jury for the Special Influencers’ Award. To top it all off, a month-long public voting period meant that consumers could also have their say in who takes the Special Consumers’ Award home. With over 60,000 votes cast on the public voting website, it’s safe to say that the competition has been quite tight.
Following several months of excitement around the application, public voting, and jury scoring periods, the grand finale is just around the corner: the Virtual Awards Ceremony will take place on the 3rd of November, where we will finally find out who the Winners and Finalists of this year’s Awards are.
Whether you’re an entrant yourself, want to root for your favorite vegan brands, or simply discover some jaw-dropping vegan innovations and learn more about the current trends in the plant-based industry, we promise that the Virtual Ceremony will be an event you don’t want to miss.
